SUMMARY:State of Play Switzerland: Future Proteins - The pathway to cultured foods
DESCRIPTION:What role do we want cultured food to play in shaping the future of protein in Switzerland?  \nIt is predicted that by 2050 cultured food could be a $1.1 trillion dollar industry creating 9.8 million new jobs globally. On January 30\, we’ll bring key stakeholders from across the food innovation ecosystem together to: \n\nMap out the organizations active in this space\nExplore key trends and technologies to spot opportunities\nDiscuss how to tackle current barriers to innovation\nConsider how we can work together to move the agenda forward\n\nIn the morning\, participants will hear from leading keynote speakers and have the chance to take part in interactive working sessions. Then after lunch we’ll be holding an exclusive session for Valley partners to develop an action plan for cultured foods in 2023 and beyond.  \nEvent partner: Bern Economic Development Agency \n SUMMARY:Swiss Food Systems Summit
DESCRIPTION:How can Switzerland’s food system become more sustainable? \nIn the past few months\, the Citizens’ Council for Food Policy and a scientific panel launched by SDSN Switzerland have been looking for answers to this question. \nThe results of these discussions will now be presented at the Swiss Food Systems Summit. The proposals will also be discussed with politicians and stakeholders from across the food value chain. \nFederal Councilor Guy Parmelin will give a keynote speech to kick off the event. The detailed program can be found via these links in German and French. \nGiven that the number of places is limited\, participation is by invitation only. Food System stakeholders can register by contacting the team at info@sdsn.ch.
