Packaging: Workshop-Training


Cluster Food & Nutrition in collaboration with the Packaging Laboratory (Laboratoire Emballage et Conditionnement – LEC) of the HEIG-VD, offers you the opportunity to participate in a half-day “Packaging: Workshop-Training”, looking at concrete food industry cases.

This is an opportunity for SMEs, craftsmen, and associations active in the food industry to learn more about a pertinent issue, to ask questions to the experts, and to visit the technological platform and the LEC equipment.

The workshop is structured in three parts:

  1. Main constraints and criteria for selecting a packaging according to different types of products (this part can be selected according to the fields of interest of the participants).
  2. Tasting of products with different types of packaging.
  3. Use and properties of bioplastics/biomaterials.
