InnoFood & co: The annual meeting of the actors of the Swiss agri-food ecosystem

Register now

The societal and environmental challenges related to food are numerous and complex. They need to be tackled in a global way and require profound changes from all actors; academic, economic, political and social, hence the notion of “food systems”. Everything is connected, and in order to find a sustainable and beneficial balance for all, it is necessary to conceive the future of our food all together. The canton of Fribourg is a pioneer in this field with its recent agri-food strategy, which recommends a systemic, collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to innovation. It is in this context of profound change that the Cluster Food & Nutrition invites you to discover both local and global initiatives and to seize the opportunities for innovation and collaboration that are available to you.

CONNECT, DISCOVER, CO-CREATE.

After an overview of how the innovation ecosystem works in Switzerland, we will gain some perspective with the participation of Mr. Dominique Burgeon, Director of the Geneva office of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), who will be honoured to discuss with us how science, technology and innovation can accelerate the transformation of food systems around the world.

In the second part, renowned experts from academia, startups and industry will speak and share their vision and perspectives on topics such as the circular economy, alternative proteins, industry 4.0 and agile innovation methodologies during parallel sessions.

During this 1st edition of InnoFood & co, the focus will be on proximity and exchange, notably through networking opportunities throughout the day.

See you at InnoFood & co!
