The Innovation Booster Future Food Farming, powered by Innosuisse, invites you to expand your network and collaborate on the challenges of transforming the food system during an Open Exploration Workshop.
Through a shared understanding of current conflicts, stakeholders—from farmers to citizens, from research to application—develop projects that contribute to solving problems and changing the status quo.
Project funding of up to CHF 39’000 can be obtained after participating in the workshop, incubation sessions, and meeting the participation requirements.
Together, we aim to explore the following question: How can we align recommendations for sustainable nutrition with local sourcing and production?
What obstacles must be overcome to comply with the food pyramid and the agri-food value chain? How can we reconcile the ecological footprint of our diets with the role of meat and the promotion of short supply chains? Can the “Feed no Food” principle reduce competition for resources, and how can these efforts be integrated into climate plans? Finally, how can a balanced, carbon-neutral diet be reflected in gastronomy and retail offerings? Finding a balance requires rethinking production, consumption, and business practices at all levels.
During this workshop, we will:
• Experience the challenges—together, in the kitchen
• Identify the obstacles and issues currently hindering transformation
• Deepen our understanding of the complexity of our agri-food system
• Identify key challenges and relevant stakeholders
• Draft opportunity statements that pave the way for new momentum and value-based solutions
Why participate?
• Join a vibrant, multidisciplinary community passionately reshaping our food landscape
• Gain deep insight and understanding of key barriers and their significant impacts
• Find the right partners for an innovation project and access funding
This event is organized in collaboration with the Fondation Rurale Interjurassienne and will be held in French and German.
