SFNV Impact Forums are one-hour online seminars featuring Swiss and international experts that delve into the topics behind our Impact Platforms.

Why attend?

In just 60 minutes you’ll hear the latest insights from four expert speakers and then share knowledge and explore synergies with other attendees in our quick-fire Q&A session.

What?

Protein is one of the building blocks of life – essential to a balanced diet and necessary for growth and the repair of damaged tissues. Demand for protein is on the rise as the world’s population is projected to reach 10 billion by 2050 (1). 1 billion people around the world already do not consume enough protein (2) and our food system today accounts for 30% of global GHG emissions (3). Without innovation, it will be impossible to provide enough protein to meet demand while meeting the targets set out by the Paris Climate Agreement and the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Building on Swiss Food & Nutrition Valley’s State of Play 2.0 event in December 2024, this online forum will provide both Swiss and international experts with an opportunity to continue to explore the trends and opportunities in this space and how we can scale the most promising approaches.

Who?

The session will be led by Christina Senn-Jakobsen, CEO of SFNV, a passionate advocate for food system sustainability. She’ll be joined by three expert speakers from the Valley’s ecosystem.
