nutriMenu.ch is an easy-to-use, accurate and scientific webapp for the quantitative evaluation of the nutritional quality and environmental impact of meals served in public and private institutions.
nutriMenu.ch is based on the Swiss quality standards for health-promoting a guide of the Swiss Federal Office for Food Safety and Veterinary Affairs (FOVV) and is a recognized player in the FOVV’s Swiss Nutrition Strategy 2017-2024.
Since its conception in 2015, nutriMenu has been adopted by many private and public communities for a self-assessment of the nutritional quality and environmental impact of menus, allowing a monitoring for managers and a transparency for consumers with its “nutriMenu Score” for the nutritional quality and “ecoMenu score” for the sustainability of menus.
Since 2016, nutriMenu has been adopted by the City of Lausanne in the context of the “Plan Restauration Collective Durable” and in 2017 nutriMenu Lausanne received the 1st prize of the Swiss Grand Prix “Citizen@Work” for a measurable improvement of the nutritional quality of the meals served in the schools, CVE and cafeterias of the City of Lausanne
Since 2019, nutriMenu is adopted by the City of Zurich in the context of the “Sustainable Nutrition” strategy as well as by the 20-30 “Manger Responsable” strategy of the EPFL
nutriMenu is a label certified by the Organisme Intercantonal de Certification (ICO), with annual controls by inspectors who are dietetic cooks.
